Every shore town below is listed north to south with an approximate drive time to Waterfront Marina in Brick, where we board. Times are estimates without traffic, so summer weekends can run longer. 1. Sea Bright to Allenhurst
Towns: Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, Long Branch, Deal, Allenhurst
Approximate drive to Brick: about 27–41 minutes (Sea Bright ~41, Monmouth Beach ~37, Long Branch ~34, Deal ~28, Allenhurst ~27)
Fitting in a sail: From the top of the strip, the Garden State Parkway south is usually the quickest way down. Make it a half-day trip: a morning or midday sailing leaves the rest of the day for your beach.
2. Asbury Park, Ocean Grove & Bradley Beach
Towns: Asbury Park, Ocean Grove (Neptune), Bradley Beach
Approximate drive to Brick: about 21–24 minutes (Asbury Park ~24, Ocean Grove ~24, Bradley Beach ~21)
Fitting in a sail: Route 35 or Route 18 to the Parkway are the usual options. A sail fits easily between a beach morning and dinner.
3. Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar & Spring Lake
Towns: Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Spring Lake
Approximate drive to Brick: about 18–20 minutes (Avon ~20, Belmar ~18, Spring Lake ~18)
Fitting in a sail: Route 35 south or Route 18 to the Parkway. About as close as a family outing gets from these towns.
4. Sea Girt & Manasquan
Towns: Sea Girt, Manasquan
Approximate drive to Brick: about 14–16 minutes (Sea Girt ~16, Manasquan ~14)
Fitting in a sail: Route 35 south across the Manasquan River, or Route 34/70 inland. Short enough to fit in before lunch.
5. Point Pleasant, Bay Head & Mantoloking
Towns: Point Pleasant Beach, Point Pleasant, Bay Head, Mantoloking
Approximate drive to Brick: about 7–15 minutes (Point Pleasant ~7, Bay Head ~10, Point Pleasant Beach ~11, Mantoloking ~15)

The 75-minute adventure is geared to kids ages 3–10 and fun for the whole family: pirate tattoos at check-in, a treasure map, water cannons and sunken treasure. Public tickets are $33–$37 per person.
