The adventure is geared towards pirates 3-10 years old, but is fun for the whole family!
Your mini mates will have the opportunity to get face painted with pirate “tattoos”, and learn some pirate lingo before setting sail on a 75-minute, action-packed adventure.
What Happens on Board
Once on board, the mates will participate in an interactive treasure hunt on the high seas. They will learn the rules of the Sea Gypsy pirate ship, read a treasure map, discover a secret message in a bottle, and work as a team to defeat the enemy pirate who has stolen the keys to their treasure.
Prepare to man our famous water cannons to win back the keys from our nemesis Pirate Pete! Once we have won back the keys, we’re off in search of the sunken treasure. X marks the spot for our crew’s hard earned spoils. The mates will use all of their might to hoist the treasure from the seas below onto the Sea Gypsy. Their reward: each child takes with them a handful of loot and a lifetime of authentic pirate tales to tell. The adventure continues when we discover the secret stash of Pete’s Grog as we safely return to port.

How much are pirate ship tickets in Brick, NJ?
Public pirate adventure tickets on the Sea Gypsy II are $33–$37 per person. The exact price for your date and time shows when you check out on TripWorks.
Why do ticket prices vary between sailings?
Early bookings get a lower price. If you see a lower price on a sailing, you’re one of the first to reserve it.
Do kids, adults and babies all need a ticket?
Yes. Every person on board, babies included, needs a ticket because of Coast Guard capacity rules. Children can’t sail alone; at least one adult must come along.
How much is it to rent the whole pirate ship?
A private full boat holds up to 43 people. Private boat charters are available starting at $899. Birthday packages are $899 for First Mate ($949 July–August) and $1,049 for Quarter Master with the party room ($1,099 July–August). How much is a private sunset cruise?
Private sunset cruises for the whole boat are available starting at $899. Adult cruises, sunset cruises and company outings sail only on our 6:30 PM final sailing. Call (732) 899-6100 to plan yours. See Sunset Cruise.
Is there a smaller group option?
Yes. The Buccaneer birthday package covers 20 guests for $650, including the private party room after the sail. School and camp groups smaller than a full boat are $30 per person.
Can I add the party room?
Yes. The pirate party room can be added to a pirate adventure for $150. Call (732) 899-6100 to add it.
Where do I buy tickets?
Only through the Book Now button (TripWorks) on our site or by phone at (732) 899-6100, 9 AM–6 PM. We don’t sell through third-party resellers.
Can I move my tickets if we can’t make it?
Tickets are for the date and time you booked and can’t be transferred within the cancellation period. You can cancel from your confirmation email until 72 hours before sailing.
